The First Trailer for 'Batman: Hush' Has Just Dropped
One of the most popular arcs from the Caped Crusader.
Expanding on its list of animated titles, DC Comics will soon be releasing Batman: Hush, and the first trailer for it just dropped on Tuesday. The new animated movie is based on the comic book arc of the same name by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee, which ran from 2002-2003, featuring a new masked villain named Hush. The arc was very well received and gained a huge readership at the time, offering a more in-depth glimpse into Bruce Wayne’s detective mind.
As to casting, Jason O’Mara, who previously voiced Batman in several animated films including Batman: Bad Blood and Justice League Dark, will reprise his role as the Dark Knight, a decision most fans will be happy about. Accompanying him will be a handful of other experienced DC talents, such as Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Bruce Thomas as Jim Gordon, James Garrett as Alfred the Butler, and Jerry O’Connell as Superman. Jason Spisak and Adam Gifford will join as new additions to the team, voicing Joker and Bane respectively.
As of now, we only know that Batman: Hush will be released sometime this year, with no specific date. Stay tuned for more updates to come.
