Closer Look at the Nike Air Max Tailwind IV "Volt" Colorway
The retro silhouette gets splashed with neon hits.

As Nike prepares to resurrect its 20-year-old Air Max Tailwind IV silhouette, glimpses of the retro footwear in colorways such as “Desert Ore” and “Wolf Grey” have surfaced in advance of its official release. Of course, Supreme’s collaboration with Nike on the Tailwind IV in both black/blue and white/red also gave way to sneakerheads hunting the OG colorways for more consumption. Thus, anticipated in the line-up is a lively “Volt” iteration of the sneaker, which is accentuated by neon green details from front to back.
This edition is constructed with white paneling along the upper, while traces of black outline elements such as the quarter area, toe cap and throat of the shoe. Bright yellow and green pops take the spotlight on the side panels through a curved gradient design, as well as a mini Swoosh placed at the heel. More tiny Nike checks have been stamped on the toe and back heel of the style to add more branding. Meanwhile, the transparent Air unit is tacked onto the midsole, brining one final splash of “Volt” to the kicks.
Expect the Air Max Tailwind IV to release in the near future at Nike’s webstore.
