Mercedes-Benz's Concept GLB 2019 Delivers a Roomy Compact SUV
Comfortably seating up to seven passengers.

Clean lines inform Mercedes-Benz‘s latest concept car. The Concept GLB 2019, a sequel (of sorts) to the GLA 2013, is a forward-thinking take on the compact SUV, delivering a substantial off-road-ready package with a small footprint.
Luxury meets functionality with the Concept GLB 2019, with all-wheel drive, multibeam LED headlamps, and a four-cylinder turbo engine powering 224 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm, all bolstered by an intelligently-contoured exterior and lush interior. 17-inch wheels keep the chrome underguard hovering above rough terrain, while contiguous doors improve ease of access.
Inside, the GLB 2019 is pure opulence, with “Chestnut Brown” nappa leather and nubuck linings providing an earthy motif that complements the dashboard and console’s open-pored walnut trim. The GLB 2019 is the first Mercedes-Benz compact SUV to boast a third row of seats, which boosts the passenger limit up to seven. Of course, the second and third row of seats can be recessed for extra storage space or to create differing seat configurations.
