JAY-Z "The B-Sides 2" Concert Hitting Webster Hall, Tickets on Sale This Week
The rapper will kick off the New York venue’s relaunch.
After being closed for renovations for more than a year and half, New York’s Webster Hall will reopen this month with JAY-Z as the headlining performer. The news was announced earlier today in an Instagram post revealing that the rapper’s “The B-Sides 2” concert will kick off the venue’s relaunch on April 26.
“When we were thinking about who would be the right choice to open this legendary venue, we knew it had to be a world-famous New York City icon. No one fits that description better than JAY-Z,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports Entertainment Global (BSE), which acquired Webster Hall in partnership with The Bowery Presents in February 2017.
The upcoming show will mark the first time for JAY-Z to ever perform at the site and precedes future acts including MGMT, Dillon Francis, Chromeo and Empire of the Sun. Tickets are set to go on sale beginning Friday, April 19 at Ticketmaster.com. AMEX pre-sale begins April 18.
