Following last summer’s debut of the Skylon II model and the subsequent collaborative version with Fear of God, Nike has released the retro silhouette in a “University Gold” and “Spirit Teal” combination for the current season. The latest edition of the footwear is set on a crisp white foundation, while the cool-meets-warm color tones shine on details throughout.

Mesh and suede coated in white and off-white neutrals create a streamlined look on the upper, while black leather Swooshes bring in a defining contrast. The golden and turquoise shades take centerstage at the quarter panel and are featured in an ombré-like treatment. Further hits of the bright colors are added in details such as the tongue lining, insole, heel logo and colorblocked elements on the outsole. An “Air Skylon 2” logo in script-style writing provides branding at the heel, rounding out the sneaker.

Priced at $100 USD, Nike’s Air Skylon II in “University Gold/Spirit Teal” is available to purchase now at BSTN’s webstore. Expect it to release at Nike and other select retailers in the near future.
