MADNESS Gears up for Collaborative New Balance M990MD2 Release
Military mixed with ’90s flair.
Hong Kong’s MADNESS is offering its take on the New Balance M990. Fresh off collaborative footwear releases with Timberland and adidas, this new release sees similar themes as the classic silhouette’s earthy and military tones are hit with splashes of fluorescent colors.
Coming in two colorways, the first “Gray” colorway features New Balances signature gray tones all throughout the suede, nubuck and mesh uppers while a touch of navy and lime-green can be seen at the toebox, shoelaces, and insole. The “Olive” colorway sees the most contrast with its dark-olive suede panels that are mixed in with the navy, white, gray and orange that’s found on the midsole and toebox. In keeping with the New Balance M990, both colorways are made in the United States and feature ABZORB cushioning technology.
Both version will be made available via an online raffle that’s taking place at MADNESS’ web store on April 21, 12:00 am (GMT+8). There will also be a same-day raffle registration at MADNESS Beijing, followed by a Taiwan release at New Balance Taipei on April 27.
