Official Look at Eric Emanuel x adidas Originals' SS19 Collection
Inspired by floral wallpaper from a Parisian hotel.

Eric Emanuel and adidas Originals are back with another sports-influenced collaboration, this time ushering in a romantic side that takes inspiration from floral hotel wallpaper. On a recent trip to Paris, Emanuel recounted his memories of basketball excursions and fashion weeks, leading him to infuse the collection with a rosy print fitted for the springtime.
The 10-piece assortment encompasses apparel and footwear, including track pants, athletic shorts, an anorak, hoodie, headband and two sneakers. Emanuel puts his spin on the Rivalry Hi OG and Restomod silhouettes, offering patterned and solid designs for variety. The Rivalry Hi gets the full floral treatment, which rests on a premium leather upper full of dusty pink details.
Meanwhile, the Restomod is more subdued with a sandy “Linen” foundation. Dark green laces and the adidas Three Stripes branding lend a nod to the natural vibe. The flower-laden motif makes small appearances elsewhere around the shoe, including the tongue, pull tab and heel. Sand tones remain throughout the clothing, while pink accents and floral paneling link back to the wallpaper aesthetic for a head-to-toe look.
“I’ve grown since I was that kid on the road for a tournament; I’ve travelled, I’ve been exposed to a world much bigger and more beautiful than the younger me ever got to see. I find a reference on every trip, and this collection is a reflection of a Spring trip to Paris,” said Emanuel.
Priced between $20 USD – $180 USD, the EE x adidas Originals collection will be available to shop beginning on April 25 at Emanuel’s webstore. It rolls out to specialty retailers such as KITH NY, Extra Butter and UNKNWN, as well as adidas’ website, on April 27.
