Lil Nas X to Dave East's Criticism: "I Do Not Give a F*ck"

Lil Nas X doesn’t care about Dave East‘s of “Old Town Road.” During a sitdown on the Zach Sang Show, which posted yesterday (April 22), the Georgia native was asked about his thoughts on the Harlem rapper’s criticism and Lil Nas X didn’t mince his words.

“I honestly have gotten this question so many…it’s like I have the No. 1 song in the country, I do not give a fuck about what Dave East is saying,” Lil Nas X said.

Last week (April 17), East during his Instagram Live session gave his opinion about the chart-topping single. “That fuckin’ ‘Old Town Road’ shit is fucking wack,” Dave said while imploring that he’s not being a hater. “I don’t know what the fuck is going on with hip-hop, with rap but…I ain’t no hater, man, but that shit is wack with a cape on it. It’s super wack!”

“Old Town Road” has been a viral hit and recently broke Billboard’s weekly streaming record, which was previously held by Drake. The song was remixed by Billy Ray Cyrus and a pending new version of the record will have Young Thug as the featured guest.
