FPAR Taps 'Rokudenashi' Manga in offshore TOKYO Collaborative Capsule Collection
Littered with box fighting graphics and Kanji calligraphy.
FPAR has tapped manga series Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi and Japanese retailer offshore TOKYO for a collection of graphic T-shirts for Spring/Summer 2019.
Drawing inspiration from the Japanese light novel series Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor, the long sleeve and short sleeve T-shirts are covered in manga references, co-branding and Kanji logography. Each piece sports FPAR’s signature “FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS” motif, a reference to Rokudenashi with “Union of the Rude People” typography, and dual arm “Rokudenashi Blues” and offshore TOKYO branding. Graphics from the manga series are littered throughout the capsule collection, seeing gangs, eyes and a boxing fight scene taken from Rokudenashi Blues sit alongside the myriad of text.
