Onitsuka Tiger Revives Archival Corsair Runner in "Azul Blue/Citrus"
Adding new midsole technology to the 1970s road sneaker.

Onitsuka Tiger has reworked its archival Corsair silhouette for Spring/Summer 2019, giving the 1970s road-running sneaker a bold “Azul Blue/Citrus” colorway and new sole unit technology.
The shoe was designed with a thick heel for improved shock absorption, joint protection and boasted an unrivaled level of arch support and foot cushioning when it first launched in the early ’70s.
Today, the brand elevates the Corsair with an EVA midsole and a solid rubber outsole for increased endurance. Onitsuka Tiger also nods to the silhouette’s running heritage by utilizing arch cookies — a support system for those with fallen arches — and wrapping the sneaker in a retro-hued suede, leather, and canvas upper.
Head to retailers such as Elevenstore to purchase your pair of archival running sneakers for €80 EUR (approx. $90 USD).
