Emma Stone & BTS' First 'SNL' Promo Has Arrived
Airing this weekend.
Following after Kit Harington and Sara Bareilles, Academy Award winning actress Emma Stone and Korean boy band sensation BTS are gearing up to take on hosting and musical guest duties for this weekend’s SNL episode.
“Look at these sweet beautiful men,” Stone says in the promo posted above. “Voices of angels. And us, just two women in their thirties doing their best,” she continues referring to her and Cecily Strong. Though this isn’t the first time Stone has hosted the variety sketch-comedy show (this will mark her fourth), it will mark the first appearance for BTS (and the first ever for a K-Pop group), who have over the past couple of months skyrocketed on the American music scene.
The Emma Stone/BTS Saturday Night Live episode will air this Saturday, April 13 on NBC.
Emma Stone was recently nominated by the Academy for her supporting role in The Favourite and is currently filming for Zombieland: Double Tap. On the other-hand BTS are readying their upcoming album Map of the Soul: Persona which will include a feature from Halsey. The project lands this Friday. Following the show, BTS will resume on their international stadium tour, titled Love Yourself: Speak Yourself in May and June.
