Watch the Avengers Read out Kid-Friendly 'Infinity War' Endings
On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
As part of Jimmy Kimmel’s Avengers Week, the cast of the famed Marvel franchise took the time to read out some happier, kid-friendly versions of Infinity War‘s devastating end during last night’s episode.
Coming in at four-and-a-half-minutes, the clip kicks off with host Mark Ruffalo welcoming viewers to “Intellectual Dialectical Theather of the Absurd.” He soon reveals they will be reading excerpts from the book, ‘Twas the Mad Titan Thanos. Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Evans then join in to take turns reading from the updated children’s version of the intergalactic genocide. Taking on similar rhyming schemes of children’s storybooks, the cast soon also start to challenge some rhyming issues such as “Groot” with “soot.” Watch the clip in its entirety above.
Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters on April 26.
