Kevin Abstract Drops Cryptic Video for Jazz-Heavy Cut "Big Wheels"
The first single off the Brockhampton artist’s upcoming solo project.
BROCKHAMPTON’s last full-length album, Iridescence, released last year to much critical applause. Since then they’ve been laying relatively low, with head-honcho Kevin Abstract recently teasing his upcoming project. After offering up a variety of mysterious tweets, including what seems to be snippets of music videos and even album art for the upcoming solo album Arizona Baby, we now finally have the first full song and an accompanying self-directed video for the first track, “Big Wheels.”
Cryptically hidden behind the video’s title, “THE 1-9-9-9 IS COMING,” the track is actually titled “Big Wheels,” employing a similar floating head visual to that of BROCKHAMPTON’s “Gummy.” In terms of the track, it relishes in a more Jazz-heavy sound – from the snares to the basslines, to the various jazz and guitar melodies, the track retains itself is as a lusciously smooth cut that sees Kevin carrying forth his signature rapping style.

For more related news, Steve Lacy just dropped his first single in two years, “N Side.”
