'Annabelle Comes Home' Is a Horrifying Look at Dolls
She’s back for revenge.
After announcing the title and release date for the third chapter of its horrifying Annabelle franchise, Warner Bros. has just shared the first official trailer for Annabelle Comes Home.
Coming in at a two-and-a-half minutes, the clip shows Annabelle has now been locked up inside a room full of evil artefacts by demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, and is protected by a number of wards and holy protections. Of course it wouldn’t be a horror film if someone just didn’t go and daftly open up something they shouldn’t even with obvious warnings.
“Warning! Positively do not open!” marks Annabelle’s glass cage. However a young girl soon unleashes the evil spirt and the film then sees the creepy doll, and a whole lot of other evil spirits that she has waken up, going after the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends
As part of The Conjuring universe, Annabelle Comes Home stars McKenna Grace (Gifted, Captain Marvel), Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Katie Sarife (Supernatural), Patrick Wilson (Aquaman) and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring). The Gary Dauberman- directed film lands in theaters June 28.
