Zacari Shares the Video for "Midas Touch"
The TDE signee is gaining steam.
TDE’s Zacari shares the music video for his single “Midas Touch.” The record follows up his impressive “Don’t Trip” that dropped in January. In the visual, the 23-year-old artist can be seen wandering an eerie mansion with a white wolf on his side. “Midas Touch” marks the first video the young artist has ever shot.
“This is the first music video I’ve ever shot and it’s crazy cause it was also my first time overseas,” he told HYPEBEAST. “Me and Moosa were out there for like 8 days so aside from shooting the video I had a lot of time to explore the city. I fell in love with Paris. I even got to visit the wolf trainers facility called Pierre’s Animal Farm in the countryside of France that was probably one of the craziest experiences of my life. Got to go into the wolf sanctuary with the whole wolf pack. Working with wolves throughout the whole filming process was awesome [and I] got to get a real-life perspective and interactions with this animal.”
Zacari will drop Run Wild Run Free EP, his TDE debut project, next Friday (Mar. 15). Previously, the singer-songwriter rose to fame after assisting Kendrick Lamar on “LOVE” off K. Dot’s highly-anticipated DAMN. LP that dropped in 2017.
