'Good Omens' Trailer: Jon Hamm Is an Angel Who Joins Forces With a Demon
Based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s acclaimed novel.
Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s crazy novel filled with spaceships, heaven and hell, Good Omens has been adapted by Amazon Studios as a new series and now have an official trailer. This slight parody of The Omen showcases a demon (David Tennant) and angel (Michael Sheen) joining forces to sway the Anti-Christ’s (Sam Taylor Buck) allegiance, but their mission soon spirals into complete and utter chaos.
The series was penned and executive produced by Gaiman, who promised his partner Partchett to never work on the series without him, decided to attach himself to the series after reading a posthumous letter from him. Other cast members include Jon Hamm as the angel Gabriel, and Frances McDormand and Benedict Cumberbatch as the voices of God and the devil, respectively.
Good Omens hits Amazon Prime May 31.
