Third time’s the charm.
mastermind JAPAN and The Rolling Stones are baiting fans on Instagram in regards to an upcoming collaboration. Earlier today, a customized version of the English rock band’s famous “Tongue and Lip Design” logo appeared on the label’s social media account, hinting that their seven-year strong partnership has more to offer.
The post also tagged the Australian and Japanese counterparts of the band’s touring art display Exhibitionism – The Stones, implying their participation in the project. The Stones are scheduled to open on March 15 and run until May 6 in Tokyo and features hundreds of the band’s items including fashion pieces, original artworks, instruments and interactive displays.
The forthcoming venture also marks mastermind JAPAN and The Rolling Stones’ third time working together, following a Spring/Summer 2013 collection and the four-piece’s 50th anniversary line in 2012.
