Much to the chagrin of sneakerheads around the globe, sacai‘s ultra-desirable SS19 Nike collaboration has yet to receive a proper re-release date, following the surprise online drop last month. Nevertheless, we have a close look with the forthcoming seasonal iteration for the first time.

First seen on the Paris runways in January, the monochrome “LDV With Waffle Daybreak” and “Blazer With The Dunk” were styled with bizarre fur accents, which are confirmed to be removable. Courtesy of sneaker aficionado @akawop, we now have detailed imagery of the furless LDV runners, which offer a much more muted color scheme.

Like the other iterations, the latest take on the “LDV With Waffle Daybreak” offers two Swooshes, midsoles, tongues and toeboxes, blending elements of two classic Nike silhouettes into a single model. Grey and black shades dominate the upper, with hits of white on the midsole, tongue and doubled-up laces to break up the tones. The sneaker is realized in lightweight, yet premium, materials, including mesh, grain leather and suede, making it easy to transition the running shoe from winter slush to summer sun.

The newest collaborative sacai sneakers have yet to receive a proper release date, unsurprisingly, but stay tuned for updates as they come.

Most recently, customizer AMAC debuted a sacai-inspired Air Jordan 1.
