Odell Beckham Jr. Teases Upcoming Nike Air Max 720 Collaboration
In celebration of Air Max Day.
Odell Beckham Jr. will be celebrating Air Max Day with a new Air Max 720 collaboration. The Browns wide receiver recently posted an overall shot of the shoe on Instagram, revealing the distinct changes he and Nike made for the model.
OBJ switched out the Air Max 720 synthetic upper and TPU overlays with a combination of mesh, suede and top-grain nubuck leather. The pair stands out with its striking use of colors, painting the toe and heel with a suede bright pink hue, a touch of volt green mesh on the later side, highlighted by a COOGI-like pattern on the toe box and ankle collar. Splashes of volt green tabs and blue, magenta and high-vis orange suede can also be spotted throughout the shoe as it rests on a pellucid Air bubble. Minimizing branding, a small white-on-white Swoosh is placed in its regular position while OBJ’s logo is stamped on the cork insole.
The OBJ x Nike Air Max 720 will reportedly drop on June 21 for $200 USD in select retailers.
