After seeing various iterations of the Air Max 95 – from simple black and white, to colorful “Carnival” colorways – Nike revamps the beloved silhouette in a stealthy black and dark grey rendition. Combining panels of breathable mesh and leather, the upper encompasses the model’s iconic wave pattern with dark, tonal hues. The Swoosh and Air Max branding stand out against the rest of the design in reflective silver, in addition to the lacing system running along the vamp. Balanced atop a white foam midsole with Max Air cushioning, this Air Max 95 Essential also sees an icy blue translucent outsole for an overall eye-catching revamp.

While there’s no official release date yet, this version is slated to drop at retailers this spring. In other footwear news, Nike recently unveiled an otherworldly “Mars Landing” edition.
