New Balance Introduces a 997 "Bison" Pack
Three new colorways in tumbled leather.
New Balance breathes new life into its 997 with a tumbled leather makeover in its “Bison” capsule. Reminiscent of its more original designs, the contemporary take is constructed with luxe bison leather, and comes in three new colorways: black, white, and navy. The pebbled leather and matte textures compliment any outfit with an timeless, understated aesthetic. The 997 is finished with a white ENCAP midsole and outsole, breaking up the single-tone uppers with a stark contrast. The black and deep blue models also feature a hint of white around the ankle with a white insole — a subtle way to compliment a color-blocked upper.
The New Balance 997 “Bison” capsule is now available at select retailers and online with a price tag of ￥38,000 JPY — around $340 USD.
