With so much hoopla surrounding Zion Williamson‘s sneaker controversy which resulted in an injured knee due to him tearing through his custom Nike PG 2.5, the Duke superstar proved to sports fans that he’s more than capable of bouncing back and performing at the high-level everyone expected him to do so. Since his return, Williamson and the Duke Blue Devils took a win against the University of North Carolina in this year’s ACC Tournament. He notched up 31 points and 11 boards in that game resulting in Duke advancing to the ACC finals against Florida State.
Last night, Duke won the ACC Championship trophy against the Seminoles thanks to a leading performance by Zion Williamson. He came out with 21 points to lead all scorers as well as grabbing 5 boards and securing 2 assists.
