Louis Vuitton to Showcase Entire Objets Nomades Collection in Hong Kong
Collectible furniture made by leading international designers.
Louis Vuitton‘s high-end furniture line Objets Nomades will host a retrospective presentation featuring both new and archival pieces in Hong Kong. The installment will spotlight works by leading international designers such as Atelier Oï, Atelier Biagetti, the Campana Brothers, Andre Fu, Raw Edges and Tokujin Yoshioka to name a few. Moreover, the event will take place inside the historic Central Magistry building with internationally-acclaimed Joyce Wang Studio set to build the scenography for the furnishings.
“Visitors will walk into a grand, architectural space, an avant-garde home full of sensory stimulus. The archways, portals, niches, and entryways all serve to frame this traveling collection, inviting interpretation and imagination,” said Louis Vuitton in a statement.
Accompanying the Objets Nomades editions is a selection of small decorative pieces from the luxury label’s Les Petits Nomades series. The event will run March 23-31. Head to Louis Vuitton’s website to learn more.
Elsewhere, leading publisher Phaidon recently released a new hardcover book entitled Bubbletecture that explores the world of inflatable architecture and design.
