Sneaker and streetwear reseller specialists StockX is putting five of the most popular sneakers up for grabs, and all entrants need to do to be in with a chance of winning is place a bid of £1 GBP (or €1 EUR). Prizes include sneakers from Off-White™ x Nike, Fear of God, Sacai x Nike, adidas YEEZY and Jordan Brand. Only the winning entrant will be charged, but in return they’ll receive their choice of one of the five of the most sought after sneakers on the market right now. The multi-layered, swoosh-heavy design from the Japanese label has been incredibly well received on StockX. At its most profitable, the silhouette has been selling for $1099 USD, 609% higher than its retail price, while even the most affordable pairs are going for around $515 USD, which is 232% of the RRP.

Jerry Lorenzo’s conceptual, futuristic sneaker has seen huge levels of hype on the platform. Pairs are reselling for an average price of $1033 USD, nearly three times the retail price. Resellers hit a high when a pair of US 8.5 sold for $1136.
Off-White™ x Air Max 90 “Black”
Since its launch in January, one of the most popular silhouettes of Virgil Abloh’s long-running partnership with Nike has, unsurprisingly, made a serious impact on the StockX reselling community. On average, pairs are selling for 256% their original RRP, ($570), with even the lowest pairs maintaining value and going for $525 USD.
Closing off a successful 2018 for the brand, the adidas YEEZY V2 “Static” brought enthusiastic buyers to the StockX market in droves. With an average selling price of $459 USD, 61% of customers who bought a pair on release day were first time buyers on the platform.
WMNS Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Blue Chill” Patent
Originally dropping in mid-February, the success of the popular women’s colorway from Jordan brand suggests that reselling isn’t just a man’s game. Pairs are fetching prices as high as $618 USD, and on average are retailing for nearly three times their original RRP.
