Emerging Japanese brands KaneZ and SKOLOCT have come together to release a limited capsule collection. Inspired by art and graphic design, the collection embodies the Tokyo graphic aesthetic.

Kan Takagi of KaneZ, initially rose to prominence by collaborating with legendary streetwear designer SK8thing. Having launched her own brand in 2014, armed with avant-garde graphics it only seems right to work with a fellow graphic-led brand, SKOLOCT.

Serving their collaborative effort, “SKONEZ”, with a new logo typeface across the back of long sleeve t-shirts. The collection plays with the themes of money and art, incorporating SKOLOCT’s renowned dollar sign and dollar bill illustrations. The main graphic design cues are based on a rabbit-like creature living in Harajuku, other notable pieces include multicoloured embroidered denim caps and embroidered velour tracksuit. KaneZ x SKOLOCT is only being sold exclusively in Japan.
