Kanye West Takes His Sunday Service Show to adidas North American HQ

Following the publishing of his Interview exchange with Shayne Oliver, Kanye West decided to host his Sunday Service showcase a little earlier than normal. This time around, Kanye took to the adidas North American headquarters building in Portland, Oregon to deliver his latest Sunday Service session.

Backed by several talented musicians and a complete gospel choir, Kanye West treated his audience at Adidas’ Portland space to a set made up of some of his best and most popular hit-records. Alongside Kanye West’s backing band, Charlie Wilson also stepped in to assist the 41-year-old rapper, performing his part of the Yeezus standout “Bound 2.” As multiple outlets have noted and as the footage shows, lyrics to songs like “Jesus Walks” were reworked to fit the crowd, with “Next time I’m at Adidas everybody screamin’ out” added to the bars of the aforementioned track. Kanye West’s Sunday Service performance didn’t stop once his latest gathering exited the confines of the Adidas North American headquarters either; Ye proceeded to perform once he hopped back in the plane.

Kanye West originally began his Sunday Service series in January. He has also used the events as a platform to celebrate the 15th anniversary of his seminal studio album College Dropout.
