Gucci GG Supreme Backpack Brings Back NY Yankees Logo
Following up to the label’s monogram baseball cap.
After releasing a luxury edition of the New York Yankees’ signature logo cap, Gucci returns to the popular MLB patch for its new GG Supreme Backpack. The Italian label’s latest carrier brings back the Yankees insignia in similar form, extending the sports-influenced design cue further into its accessories range.
Like the hat, the bookbag is offered in a beige base colorway and features Gucci’s “GG” branding in an all-over print. The Yankees badge is emblazoned on the front of the backpack via a large, cream-toned appliqué that continues the neutral palette and offers a streamlined look. While cotton and a synthetic fiber blend comprise the bulk of the body, leather details add an elevated touch on elements such as the top handle and various trim details. A zip pocket at the front and middle of the bag make up the holding compartments, while double adjustable shoulder straps round out the key exterior pieces. Canvas lining on the interior finishes off the style.
