Burberry Delivers a New British Heritage-Influenced RS5 Canvas Sneaker

Burberry joins in on the dad shoe trend for Spring/Summer 2019 with its RS5 panelled canvas sneakers, dropping in a “Triple Black” colorway with hits of 3M littered throughout.
Sitting atop a raised rubber sole which encompasses a part-wraparound outsole (adding texture and geometric assets to the sole unit), the Burberry RS5 delivers a clean take on the chunky sneaker with tonal canvas and smooth leather overlapping panels, a 3M stripe running along the entirety of the shoe’s tongue and heel tabs, and an all-new signature leather logo sitting upon the tongue, an embossed take on the “Burberry London England” slogan designed by graphic artist Peter Saville.
