adidas Consortium & Overkill Debut '90s Gaming-Inspired ZX 10000C Collaboration
A more muted colorway than the last release.
After releasing a mix-and-match collaboration earlier this year, adidas Consortium and Overkill have reunited for another take on the retro ZX 10000C silhouette. The new release comes in a more muted design, taking inspiration from ’90s video games. This aesthetic is referenced through a colorway of grey, magenta and blue tones as a nod to the gaming consoles that launched around the same time as the adidas ZX line first emerged.
The new ZX 10000C Overkill is constructed from both natural and technical fabrications, including mesh underlays, premium suede and webbed Three Stripe branding. Other features include reinforced TPU on the ghilly and heel, as well as a Torsion bar for support.
Overkill’s latest adidas Consortium ZX10000 C is set to release on April 13. Unlike the earlier collaboration, which was exclusive to Overkill locations, the new release will hit Consortium stockists around the world.
