sacai's SS19 Contrast Bomber Jacket Is a Study in Deconstruction

Continuing to express its unique sense of deconstruction, sacai recently released the Contrast Bomber Jacket from its Spring/Summer 2019 collection.
The hybrid piece challenges conventional garment construction codes by pairing segments from an MA-1 jacket with portions of a classic jean jacket. In an amalgamation of heritage styling with military wear, designer Chitose Abe masterfully expressed a mix of clean lines, color blocking, contrasting fabric textures and prominent details. Notable finishing details on the unique outerwear option include an asymmetric zip closure, sleeve pocket and raw edges.
