Nike Air Max 270 Cools Down With "Hype Jade" Colorway
Clean and crisp for spring.

After adding the silhouette to its “Have a Nike Day” pack as well as upgrading the sneaker to premium leather earlier this month, Nike is bringing in a cool-hued edition to its Air Max 270 line-up. The brand will soon offer the shoe in a “Hyper Jade” iteration, which takes on a fresh combination just in time for spring.
The footwear features a primarily white base that is accented with shades of blue in several areas. On the upper, the turquoise-like shade of Jade is prominent in elements such as the underlays, eyestays, insole and pull tabs. Hyper Jade also adds a colorful element to the rear of the shoe via the Air Max 270 heel unit. Meanwhile, “Deep Royal Blue” details are dotted around the sneaker in the inner lining, outsole and various branding hits, providing a darker contrast against the white midsole. The sneaker’s signature mesh knitting construction remains in tact.
Priced at $150 USD, the Nike Air Max 270 Hype Jade is expected to release on February 28. Look out for the style to land at select Nike stores, as well as on the brand’s website.
While Nike continues to release updated and innovate takes on its classic footwear, the athletic company seems to still be nailing down its more advanced options. Recently, several users who purchased the label’s new digitally-centric Adapt BB sneakers found that the $350 USD shoes were malfunctioning. Reportedly, due to an outdated software update, the corresponding app is failing to sync for some customers who utilize the Android system.
