Nas Enlists Fashawn & Ezri for Statik Selektah-Produced "Apostles"
The intro off Mass Appeal’s ‘Starting 5’ EP.
Several weeks ago, Nas released new visuals for Nasir tracks “Everything” and “Adam and Eve.” Now, in support of the Mass Appeal crew’s upcoming North American tour, Nas teams up with Fashawn and Ezri for the Statik Selektah-produced “Apostles.”
Notably, “Apostles” serves as the introductory effort on Mass Appeal’s new Starting 5, Vol. 1 compilation EP, as well as its biggest collaborative cut. Besides the “Apostles” trio, Starting 5 also features Stro, Cantrell, 070 Phi, Black Milk, Keyon Harrold and others.
“A king is often alone even in a crowded home / He silent, let it be known,” Nas raps. “He trust nobody not family or friends / You’d be surprised on what he relies on / Consequences of men.”
