Drake's Old Rhyme Book is Being Sold for $32,500 USD
Found in a dumpster near his old workplace.
An old rhyme book owned by Drake is being sold for $32,500. The old notebook is comprised of old verses and lyrics from 2002 to 2005, before he was the iconic superstar he is today, and when he was still just Jimmy Brooks on the TV Show Degrassi.
The book is currently being sold by Moments in Time, a memorabilia and autograph company who also sold Tupac’s BMW 7-series. According to TMZ, the item was discovered in a dumpster close to Drake’s grandfather’s furniture factory in Toronto – Drake is said to have worked there years ago. Aside from the various lyrics that the young up-and-comer scribbled down, the book also dons his signature. The notebook has 20-to-25 pages of verses, full songs, and various notes from the 6 God.
Take a look at one of the reported verses that’s included below:
Girls lie and you make it evident you affected
Up north / Drake is the president I’m respected
But I’m a liar due to the evidence you collected
From chicks in my crew / to chicks beside you
Cashiers at the drive through / them hoes lie too
