URWERK Presents the UR-105 CT "Maverick" in Bronze
A watch that will develop a patina just as unique as its movement.
Unconventional Swiss watchmaker URWERK expands on its popular UR-105 line with a new “Maverick” edition made with bronze and titanium.
Introduced last month at SIHH, the UR-105 CT “Maverick” features the brand’s iconic satellite movement with a wondering hour indicator that sweeps along the minutes scale for an analogue and digital display of the time. What makes this timepiece different from other 105s is its rugged-looking bronze bezel that develops a patina unique to its wearer, while a titanium back balances the weight.
Limited to just 22, the URWERK UR-105 CT “Maverick” retails for $69,000 USD at urwerk.com. If you’re looking for something a bit more timeless, and cheaper, check out HODINKEE’s collaborative pilot’s watch with IWC.
