'Beavis and Butt-Head' Gets Immortalized on adidas' Matchcourt Hi
“BREAKIN’ THE LAW! BREAKIN’ THE LAW!”
Beavis and Butt-Head, the notorious comedic duo from the famed ‘90s adult-themed cartoon has been immortalized on adidas’ Matchcourt Hi sneaker.
Last year, the sportswear brand paid homage to the iconic MTV series with its 3MC skate shoe and various apparel, but now the two parties have teamed up once again for a new collaborative project. The newly teased sneaker features Beavis’ hyperactive death-glare on the lateral side of the right shoe, while Butt-Head’s blank expression is plastered to the lateral side of the left shoe. The tongue badge on both shoes feature the duo staring outwards, with an all-over Beavis and Butt-Head print employed on the liner’s interior. To tie up the references, adidas has twerked its signature rear heel rubber badge to match the show’s typography and coloring. This is all met with an all-white canvas upper and a light blue midsole.
