The Roots Deliver Upbeat Single "Feel It (You Got It)" Feat. Tish Hyman
The Philadelphian hip-hop band is back.
The Roots have returned with a brand new single titled “Feel It (You Got It)” featuring Tish Hyman. It’s been quite a while since fans received new music from the iconic act— made up of founders Questlove and Black Thought. The Philadelphian hip-hop band has for the past several years maintained themselves as the in-house band of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, refraining from touring and more due to the rigorous schedule of the show.
The new single is purportedly from their forthcoming End Game album, which serves as a follow-up to 2014’s And Then You Shoot Your Cousin. As is expected, The Roots bring forth an array of vibrant live instrumentation across the cut’s bedrock, delivering an upbeat composition that allows for Black Thought to showcase why he’s one of the best MCs to ever do it.
