'Predator: Hunting Grounds' Trailer Delivers on Heavy Weaponry and Gory Finishes
Play as the hunter or the hunted in this multiplayer shooter.
During PlayStation‘s State of Play live stream, a new trailer for the upcoming Predator: Hunting Grounds was featured. This asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer shooter sees players take control of four soldiers in the jungle while attempting to survive a player-controlled Predator hunting the group down.
In the trailer above, we get to see some gameplay, a few optional weapons being used, as well as the introduction of a female Predator, initially introduced in early Dark Horse comics. She comes equipped with a special Yautja Bow that deals massive damage and pins foes to walls during death. Another playable Predator includes the balanced Hunter, the agile Scout, and the brutal Berserker. All of the above have access to off-world weaponry, such as the versatile Combistick, throwable Smart Discs, and even the patented wrist blades and plasma casters.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will be available April 24 for PlayStation 4 and Epic Games Store, however, if preordered, players will have access to the original Predator skin from the 1987 film, as well as the powerful “Ole Painless” mini-gun.
In other gaming news, Capcom has released an announcement trailer for its Resident Evil 3 remake.
