New Japanese 'Sonic The Hedgehog' Trailer Teases "Baby Sonic"
Giving “Baby Yoda” a run for its money.
Paramount Pictures has released a new Japanese trailer for the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog movie, showcasing the titular character as a baby. The short footage above, which is scored by the theme music of Sonic Mania, reveals previously hinted locations like Green Hill Zone from the original SEGA games before revealing Baby Sonic himself.
The first visuals of the mascot in his younger age has already gone viral, going up against the likes of The Mandalorian‘s marketable character The Child, also known as Baby Yoda on the Internet. The beginning of the year saw the opposite reaction when Paramount revealed the initial design for Sonic in the film before pushing the release date and upgrading his look.
