UK-based size? is no stranger to exclusive adidas trainers, and for its latest limited release the British retailer has presented a LXCON 94 “Carstensz.” Drawing its inspiration from Indonesia’s treacherous Carstensz Pyramid — considered to be one of the world’s most difficult mountains to scale — these adidas Originals lifestyle shoes combine a street-ready colorway with a ready-for-anything construction.
Things are kicked off with a rough and rugged tan base, constructed of Cordura fabric for maximum hardiness. This is overlaid with a cut-out leather cage that combines airy white hues with soft earth tones. Hot red and cool aqua branded hits, trim and details nod to the jungle that surrounds the Carstensz and its glacial peak alike. Down below, an adiPRENE midsole ensures all-day comfort for strolling the streets or hiking the hills, and a classic gum rubber outsole finalizes the look with its grippy shape.
