'Ruined King' Trailer ReveaIs an RPG Title Based on 'League of Legends'
A singleplayer spin-off from the newly announced Riot Forge.
Following the announcement of their publishing label Riot Forge, Riot Games announced at The Game Awards that a singleplayer League of Legends game called Ruined King is in the works. The story-driven RPG is being developed by Airship Syndicate (Darksiders Genesis), and the team’s CEO Joe Madureira took to the stage at TGA to confirm the title takes place after LoL‘s “Bilgewater: Burning Tides” event, and that players will take control of League champions.
Although it’s confirmed that the game will have “a new take on turn-based” and that players will be able to explore the city of Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles, further information is scarce. We’ll report more details as the story on the game develops.
