Nike‘s Air Max 270 React has enjoyed a fruitful first year on the market, and now it’s set to round 2019 off in style with two contrast stitch-equipped makeups: “Electric Green” and “Flash Crimson.” Boasting new ripstop uppers and compelling details, each pair provides an alternate look for the popular lifestyle silhouette from Nike Sportswear.
Both use a single-colored base, with the “Electric Green” choosing a pure black hue, while the “Flash Crimson” opts for a sleek and sporty grey. Contrast stitching then provides each pair with its signature details and moniker alike, appearing around the corners of every overlay. As most 270 Reacts offer a seamless fused construction, these stitched details provide an interesting pop of classic style. There’s also a carbon fiber-style print present around the top two eyelets and on the tongue.
Down below, the midsole combines a cored-out React foam forefoot and midfoot with a heel Air Max 270-style cushioning unit, a fusion of two ultra-popular Nike technologies. Textured plugs on the outsole complete the look.
Both of these Air Max 270 Reacts are set to release on Nike SNKRS come December 19. The MSRP for each pair is set at $170 USD.
If you prefer sneakers that lean more towards the wild side of the spectrum, you’ll certainly enjoy the Nike Air Aqua Rift’s “Original Mashup” colorway as well.
