Richard Mille's Latest Watch Is Surprisingly Round
Based off the original round RM 033 from 2011.
Richard Mille strays from its signature tonneau-shaped case design in its latest watch release. Based off the RM 033 that was last seen in 2011, the RM 33-02 features the same ultra-thin round case design, but utilizes Carbon TPT alongside red gold in its construction.
In keeping with the current watch market, the RM 33-02 elects for a smaller case size — 42mm from 46mm — but sees an increase in case height. The watch also continues Richard Mille’s push for advanced materials and radical design with its caliber RMXP1 movement, which is made from grade 5 titanium. The skeletonized movement features a 45-hour power reserve and an off-center micro-rotor.
Priced at $145,000 USD, the RM 33-02 is limited to 140 pieces and can be found at Richard Mille flagships and select dealers.
