Following up a “Red Bark” style, Nike‘s ever-popular Air Force 1 has appeared in a premium “Fossil” colorway. Although it may appear to be a simple, elegant lifestyle silhouette at first glance, closer inspection reveals that it’s in fact replete with special details and rife with unique prints.
Things are kicked off in a simple fashion, thanks to a fossil-colored tumbled leather upper with tonal Swooshes. However, the detailing is ramped up quickly — most notably on the throat and eyestays. The throat features a tan and black mix that almost looks woven in nature, with the tongue tag taking on a wood grain-style print for contrast.
Moving outwards, the eyestays are constructed of a brown and tan stingray leather, adding material contrast. This agglomeration of accents is secured by red and black striped laces. The heel tab proffers a tan tumbled leather with black branding, and a fossil-colored midsole/outsole combo match the upper to complete the look.
Part “Safari,” part basketball and entirely unique, these premium Air Force 1s are available now on the Nike webstore. The MSRP is set at $110 USD.
