Nike Adapt Huarache Gears up in "Racer Blue"
A sporty new colorway for the power lacing sneaker.

Nike‘s power lacing Adapt Huarache is gearing up to release in a new “Racer Blue” colorway for the holidays. One of two mass-market Nike silhouettes to use electronic lacing technology — the other being the basketball-geared Adapt BB — this Adapt Huarache combines ultra-advanced tech with a sporty color scheme.
Power lacing tech is front and center both literally and figuratively, with a black winch system securing a yellow sheath on the throat. These thin fabric cords can be individually tightened or loosened via an app, making for a fit that can easily be adjusted on the go. Anchors are provided by cool blue plastic overlays that sit on top of a sleek black and blue mesh base. Traditional Nike Huarache branding is visible on the throat through a translucent TPE window, and a rubberized Nike graphic graces the heel.
White midsoles provides more than just contrast as they house the motor that powers the lacing system in the midfoot, complete with two LED lights. These can be customized through the same aforementioned app, making for an interchangeable piece of flair that can be used to provide contrasts either subtle or jarring. More blue hits on the outsole complete the look.
The Nike Adapt Huarache “Racer Blue” will release on Nike SNKRS come December 12. The MSRP is set at $350 USD.
