After a few years away from the menswear sphere, Marc Jacobs has launched a new collection of apparel for men. The American designer has launched a small selection of men’s pieces, included T-shirts, jackets, sweaters, hoodies and sweats, as part of his The Marc Jacobs line, which focuses on collaborations.

Jacobs told WWD that the impetus for the new men’s line came from male customers asking for pre-fall 2019 pieces in larger sizing. The new men’s collection includes collaborations with Peanuts, with sweatshirts featuring the likes of Snoopy and Charlie Brown. Other items include illustrations by artist Magda Archer, as well as T-shirts inspired by the New York Magazine logo.

Jacobs was recently under fire for his artistic references. The designer is currently in a legal dispute with Nirvana over his use of the iconic smiley face artwork associated with the band.

The Marc Jacobs The Men’s Collection is now available to shop online, with prices ranging from $115 USD for a T-shirt to $1,600 USD for a hoodie.
