Following through with a slew of 17th and 18th-century themed goods, Gucci has released its Baroque-Printed Puffer Jacket as part of the brand’s FW19 rollout.
The base of the jacket utilizes a Gillet-like construction in red with the sleeves contrasting in bold black. Throughout the body, the vibrant red has been emblazoned by a variety of extravagant motifs reminiscent of Baroque paintings and architecture. This includes various ornate horse-themed imagery including white horses, gold saddles, and riding accessories. The two front flap pockets are marked by a subdued mint color, with prancing horses laid atop. The back features similarly-themed imagery, basking in hues of white, gold, red, and more. Rounding out the piece is gold-tone hardware, a high neck, and elasticated cuffs.
You can view Gucci’s Baroque-Printed Puffer Jacket above. The piece is currently available via The Webster’s web store with a retail price set at $3,500 USD.
