Wiki, Lil Ugly Mane & Denzel Curry Collide for New 'OOFIE' Collab & Single "Grim"
Wiki’s new LP will hit streaming services tonight.
Just a few days after debuting the official music video for “Pesto,” Wiki shares another new record off his forthcoming solo album OOFIE. For the aforementioned project’s final single, the former Ratking lyricist is teaming up with Lil Ugly Mane and Denzel Curry for a somber cut titled “Grim.” Over Lil Ugly Mane’s ominous, gloomy beat, all three emcees deliver back-to-back bars about their darkest times and lowest points on “Grim,” touching on depression, anxiety and more.
“Ashamed of myself, the pain that I felt / My paper, my wealth, not concerned with or pertained to my health / Not concerned with if I hang from a belt / All these people talkin’, I just stay to myself, so what’s real?” Lil Ugly Mane spits on “Grim.” “Watch me float around my city, gettin’ wild / With a stomach full of bile, as I suffer with a smile.”
“Appointed to a therapist when I’m very pissed, I’m arrogant / Tellin’ myself that I be fine, it’s the point where it’s scary, yes / Carried this burden, for certain, I just need a surgeon / To take away all my emotions, my system’s nervous,” Denzel Curry adds during his own “Grim” verse. “You only think deep when a f*ckin’ shrink speaks / Only time I count sheep is when a n***a six-deep.”
