Nigerian-Canadian rapper/singer TOBi and Soulection producer Sango have linked up to offer their newest collaborative single, “Faces.” As TOBi weaves between rapping and singing over the laidback Sango x Wax Roof beat, he takes on the issues he’s facing from his newfound popularity. “Walking in so many new rooms and spaces, I’ve learned to deal with the unfamiliar faces and keep myself grounded regardless of who I’m in front of,” TOBi said in a statement. “It’s an interesting experience to speak with a stranger who knows details about my life. At the forefront, we have to remember who was with you in the trenches and what you stand for regardless of the environment.”

“Faces” follows the release of TOBi’s Harrison-produced track “Beige” on Colors X Studios in October and his debut studio album STILL from May.

Elsewhere in music, FKA twigs covered the jazz standard “Summertime” for BBC Radio 1.
