Cult London store Garbstore has released the Fall/Winter 2019 collection from its The English Difference label, which first launched back in 2018. The knitwear-focused range takes inspiration from vintage sportswear, with a particular influence coming from English county cricket and the colors associated with it.
This influence is referenced particularly on the cardigans and crewnecks, with each one featuring an individual combination of horizontal and vertical stripes. These pieces are all constructed using a 1950s loop back weave, and are made from fine cototn yarns that produce a flat knit with a wider body, shorter length and dropped shoulder. Alongside the cardigans and sweatshirts, the knitwear theme continues with a range of classic beanies and scarves.
