Nike Pegasus Turbo Shield Appears in Sizzling "Habanero Red"

A silhouette that mixes a Zoom Pegasus Turbo midsole with a water-resistant upper, the Pegasus Turbo Shield was clearly crafted with the winter sprinter in mid, and now it’s surfaced in a vivid “Habanero Red” colorway.

A hot red synthetic shroud envelops the upper, secured by an asymmetrical zipper with taped seams and a Velcro closure around the higher-than-usual ankle to keep moisture out. When zipped back, this sheath reveals the shoe’s inner workings: a simple black mesh base layer with a flexible black and red striped elastic lacing system. Both form and function are provided by pops of bright silver, which appear on the lateral and medial Swooshes, and are also scattered across the upper to increase style and visibility.
